Antique Georgian Filigree Pendeloque Earrings, Pearl and 18ct Gold.
A fantastic and rare pair of antique Georgian circa 1800 Pendeloque earrings, set with blue and pink seed pearls and small baroque pearls. Exquisite Filigree work, the bow section is three dimensional with a satisfying folded curve. Pendeloque earrings became popular in the late 1700's and were designed with a round or marquise-shaped top suspending a bow motif from which dangles a pear-shaped drop with a design complementary to the top.
A fabulous pair of statement earrings that are as wearable today as they were 200 years ago.

ERA: Georgian circa 1800
THE GEMS: Small pink and blue seed pearls and pink baroque pearls.
MEASUREMENTS: Total drop 100mm, width 40mm.
WEIGHT: 11 grams each, total 22 grams.
MATERIALS: 18ct gold and pearls
CONDITION: Very good condition for age one pink pearl has been replaced with a round white pearl.
